About the event
Summer solstice is upon us! It's time to fill in all the spaces in your garden to maximize your abundance. Our last plant sale of the 2019 summer season is on Saturday, June 22. We still have lots of plants for your gardens, many will be on sale to get them out of their pots and in your garden.
Veggie starts include: Peppers! Tomatoes, Basil, Cucumbers, Squashes, Ground Cherries, Chard, & Lettuce. Tomatillos will be on sale with a pollination special: buy 1 get a second for free (2 tomatillos are needed for pollination).
We have lots of perennial vegetables like Lovage, Chives, Jerusalem Artichokes, Cardoons, Stinging Nettles, and Egyptian Walking Onions. We have medicinal herbs like Mints (3 types!), Mugwort, Yarrow, Wood Betony, and more. Culinary herbs in our nursery include Sage (three types), Oregano, Rosemary, and more.
Seeds and some herbal products will also be available.
Post a picture of plants that you got from our nursery on facebook or Instagram, tag us, and choose a free plant from our specials selection.
Check out our plant list to see what we have in stock. It is posted on the website: http://www.permaculturerising.com/marisha-s-permaculture-plant-nurser
All of our plants are organically grown at our home nursery location in the Woodstock Neighborhood. The perennials are from our own stock so you can find them growing in the landscape. We have saved the seeds of many of the varieties of vegetables that we offer as well. We will never carry anything that has been genetically modified. All of our purchased seeds are from local seed companies that have signed the safe seed pledge.
Cash or check only please.
Please note that our road dead ends in an alley. Please take Raymond St to 50th to avoid the alley. There will be a sign posted on Raymond St to help you find our location.
If you are unable to attend the sale, the nursery is also open by appointment.
Come on out to see what a permaculture landscape looks like on 6000 sq feet. If you don't need plants, just come on by to hang out.
