About the event

Garden season is coming up!  Join Marisha Auerbach for this workshop to learn to design your garden based on the unique characteristics of your site.  We will talk about garden mapping (formal and informal), site analysis overlays, microclimate mapping and considerations, laying out the garden, sourcing materials, and how to design for ease and efficiency.  Mapping your garden can be intimidating, especially if you do not feel confident with your drawing skills.  This workshop is designed to make it more "user friendly" by providing exercises in how to measure your pace and draw diagrams to make planning for the year easier.  Whether you are a seasoned gardener or this is your first year, this workshop will provide some tips and tricks to help you plan ahead for a great growing season.

$100

This is a hands-on workshop that pairs nicely with the Grow Your Own Produce Workshop Series.  Students enrolled in the Grow Your Own Produce Workshop Series can receive 10% off their tuition for this workshop.

Come prepared to be outside and bring your lunch.
